The EcoSmart product line can be installed standalone, for hotels that can’t afford a networked system, and later be upgraded to a fully networked system for property-wide energy management and efficiency.

To maximize savings from un-rented rooms, EcoSmart can be integrated with a hotels’ property management system to determine sold or unsold room status and pre-condition rooms at guest check-in, plus enable a deep setback mode in unsold rooms for additional energy savings. EcoSmart can also be integrated with many automated in-room systems for a total integrated guestroom solution.

Some Installation FAQ’s

15-30 minutes per room for the Telkonet equipment install.

Network cabling 2.5-3 hours per network drop (for the coordinators).

Network cabling – 1 year, parts and labor, does not include physical damage.

Yes, we will install network wiring to connect our coordinators. The cabling will run to the areas the coordinators are installed, down to the Telkonet server (normally next to the PMS [property management system] server).

Zigbee runs in the same frequency as Wifi 2.4Ghz but is a much weaker signal, we also choose channels that will avoid the WiFi network. We will run a separate dedicated network for the Telkonet equipment, including our own cabling and switches.
